POWER SCORE

The Power Score remains bullish, with the S&P gaining modestly on the week.  Many rotational changes between the top & bottom ETFs.

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

This week we take an in-depth look at the Emerging Markets ETF.  This sector has been on an absolute tear but is starting to look like it might be peaking:

OUTPERFORMANCE & UNDERPERFORMANCE

Has to be a record number of changes into the Top Quadrant and the Bottom Quadrant.  What does it mean?  Always hard to speculate, but it does appear that the bulls were looking for value last week in other places.  Hence the rotation some ETFs to Tier 1 that we haven’t seen up there in a while.  Buying still happening, but likely is challenging at times with stocks having run so high.  The weak sectors primarily show what you’d see when equities are still strong.  Just looks like an effort to try and find value somewhere.

Moving into the Top Quadrant this week:

XME SPDR S&P METALS & MINING ETF
ECH ISHARES MSCI CHILE CAPPED ETF
SLX VANECK VECTORS STEEL ETF
EZA ISHARES MSCI SOUTH AFRICA ETF
DBB POWERSHARES DB BASE METALS ETF
KBE SPDR S&P BANK ETF
EEB GUGGENHEIM BRIC ETF

Moving into the Lowest Quadrant this week:

SCHP SCHWAB US TIPS ETF
XLU SELECT SECTOR UTI SELECT SPDR ETF
SCHZ SCHWAB US AGGREGATE BOND ETF
VMBS VANGUARD MORTGAGE BACKED SEC ETF
SCHO SCHWAB SHORT TERM US TREASURY ETF
COW BACLYS BK IPATH BLOOM LIVESTOCK ETN
VNQ VANGUARD REIT ETF
TLH ISHARES 10-20 YEAR TSURY BOND ETF
NLR VANECK VCTR URANM NUCLR ENRG ETF

Remember, you can get to the Dashboard Here … Quit paying for professional money managers and take control back. Did you know that most of the ETFs we cover have fees well under 1% and you do not have to pay management fees (for typical underperformance!)

Thanks and great investing!
